Quartz is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and highly organized Senior Medical Management Program Coordinator to join our medical management team. This pivotal role requires a proactive and driven professional to help coordinate, evaluate, and improve our medical management programs. As a critical link in our program operations, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of initiatives that impact thousands of lives.

  • Work schedule an 8-hour schedule between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday
  • Starting pay range: $25-$30\hr.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintain documents for quality initiatives, including the completion of regular quality audits for Medical Management Operations and delegates of Medical Management Operations.
  • Develops, maintains, and organizes training materials, checklists, spreadsheets, flow charts, work standards, resource materials, process sheets, and other department materials to provide consistency and process improvement.
  • Participates in the development, implementation, and oversight of assigned internal policy and procedures throughout the Medical Management Operations division.
  • Identifies and tracks recommendations for process improvement within the division focusing on how to align areas within Medical Management Operations.
  • Develops and maintain professional and productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a healthcare coordination or related role within health insurance, managed care, or healthcare provider systems.
  • Proficient and highly literate in common computer applications: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email (Outlook), HealthLink, Altruista, Smart COMM, and TalkDesk.
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation software, and flow diagramming
  • Ability to run data reports to support administrative decisions.
  • Ability to create executive-level reports and presentations.
  • Development of training materials.
